The third season follows a new drama, while the gang that appears to have swept in the trial of the century appears after Douri and Drew are accused of the semi-accidental killing of a private investigator in a unique experiment. It seems that Eliot and Portia are still wrestling over whether to fight a battle with their reality and whether or not they will testify in this trial.

That Dory remains at least slightly sympathetic throughout all this is a testament to the subtle expressiveness of Shawkat's performance.

Search Party is still wickedly funny and had me laughing out loud. It's a dip from the perfect first two seasons but it's the same witty and slyly dark comedy we've fallen in love with.
